Multicultural Teaching Institute

The mission of the Multicultural Teaching Institute is to inspire and equip teachers to continue personal exploration of their own cultural identity and where it intersects with teaching and learning.

MTI Conference

HANDS-ON, COLLABORATIVE CONFERENCE, REAL-WORLD TOOLS FOR educators

We specifically recommend this conference for teachers of grades pre-K through 12. Over the three days of the institute, participants will learn hands-on teaching tools to enrich their classrooms while expanding their ability to critically evaluate their own classroom practices.

I ended up thinking about my own experience in new ways. As an educator, I feel like I have new tools and I feel empowered to be courageous!

We work with schools, non-profits, businesses and colleges in a variety of ways, such as workshops, trainings and facilitated discussions. Our goal is to move individuals and organizations toward philosophical and practical change in support of diversity, equity, and multicultural education.

We work with each institution to develop an understanding of the needs, then collaborate in the creation of a relevant program.
